In 1956 Luigi Zanetti enthusiastically decided to open a small goldsmith and watchmaking business for repairs and sales of handmade jewellery. His undoubted skills were immediately appreciated and rewarded, allowing the business to expand with the development of the goldsmith's workshop.

The growth of the business was immediately recognised by the public, thanks also to the exponentially growing tourism on Lake Garda, customers passionately followed Zanetti's productions and the shop became a point of reference for locals and tourists alike.
